Valkyrien Allstars

Valkyrien Allstars are currently presenting their seventh album, Venter på noen som venter på noen (Waiting for Someone Who Is Waiting for Someone), a collection of nine songs that continues the band’s unique blend of traditional music and pop. The album follows the critically acclaimed Slutte & Bynne from 2020.

Valkyrien Allstars are renowned as one of Norway’s finest live bands, and since their debut release in 2007 they have been at the forefront of the evolution of arranged folk music. With each release, the band has explored new directions, and they are celebrated for concerts filled with intensity, energy and unexpected musical twists. Their sparkling interplay and highly distinctive sound are unlike anything else.

The band consists of Tuva Syvertsen, Magnus Larsen Jr., Erik Sollid and Martin Langlie, who together create and arrange songs that remain an everlasting love and mysteries that are never fully solved.
