In "Panflutes and Paperwork," Ingrid Berger Myhre and Lasse Passage explore the relationship between dance and music in an unassuming manner. Grounded in musical scores, they emphasize an interest in structure and method rather than talent and virtuosity.

The title of the duet alludes to the contrast between the wet and the dry; the heartfelt and the structural, the playful and the bureaucratic. There is a tension between these states that refers to the well-known choreographer-composer relationship and its conventions. Drawing on tools from both realms, Ingrid and Lasse invent new coincidences that alter the rules of the game.

Ingrid Berger Myhre is a Norwegian dance artist based in both Brussels and Rotterdam. She holds an MA in Choreography; research and performance from ex.e.r.ce at the Centre Chorégraphique National de Montpellier and has been associated with Dansateliers Rotterdam as a choreographer since 2014.

Composer and artist Lasse Passage began studying composition at the Grieg Academy in Bergen and went on to complete a BA in Sonology from the Royal Conservatory in The Hague (NL). His music is colored by his background in electroacoustics (EA), rhythmic music, and the symbiosis between them.
