What is real, and what is just an image? Who are we when our identity is shaped by the gaze, desires and imaginings of others?

In Helena, Ingun Bjørnsgaard Prosjekt explores the enigmatic figure of Helen from Greek mythology – the woman whose beauty is said to have triggered the Trojan War. Was she abducted, did she flee of her own free will, or was it only a copy of her that was taken to Troy? Through this myth, the performance opens up questions of identity and the loss of identity, truth and illusion.
