Coven

Coven is a new work by Natali Abrahamsen Garner for Trondheim Voices.

Exploring music as a space for grief, connection and healing, Coven uses voices, breath and drones to create a shared experience of presence and reflection. The work examines how music can bring people together and offer strength through community.

Centered on the rhythm of breath, Coven unfolds as an open and meditative space. The voices create a sense of belonging and rest, inviting audiences into a shared experience of calm, attentiveness and connection.

The title refers to a community of women, historically associated with both witchcraft and monastic life. In Coven, it becomes a symbol of the power that can emerge when voices, bodies and presence inhabit the same space.
