Sohrab Pakzad is an Iranian singer and composer born in 1981. At the age of 20, he started playing the guitar on his own, and after a few years, he became a student of Faizollah Madah. Here, he met Amir Tabari, and soon they began composing and writing together.
The song "Under the Rain" was released as his first single in 2005 and was very well received. His first album, "Zir Barun," was released in 2009 and was the best-selling album of that year. The most popular song, "In Che Hessiyeh," also gained international recognition and attracted attention from a non-Persian-speaking audience.
He held his first concert alongside well-known musicians Mohammad Reza Golzar, Maziar Falahi, and Babak Jahanbakhsh in 2009.
Sohrab Pakzad, along with his band, is coming to Bærum Kulturhus.
The concert has been rescheduled from October 21 to February 10, 2024.
