Ancient brewery traditions – contemporary beers. A combo as exciting as ever.
A recent trend among Norwegian craft beer companies has been to store and age their brews in oak casks. In a move away from metal containers, new and complex tastes emerge as malted brews age in old wine- and bourbon casks.
For this evening, sommelier and beer critic, Trine Wiik-Lehmann, focuses on six exclusive brews. Three sours and three dark variants which all can accompany a smorgasbord of dishes.
