Unni Wilhelmsen solo

Unni Wilhelmsen has spent over 25 years exploring Norway with her guitars and self-written songs, performing for people in villages and cities. She plays on tiny, Norwegian-designed guitars with amplifiers, on acoustic guitars, on silver-shimmering electric guitars with distortion and echo, or on the piano.

She still prefers the intimate format. She prefers to play in the smallest, cramped venues - where she can see the faces of everyone present. The closest form of acoustic concerts is what she enjoys the most. In addition to the lyrics and music, you often get to hear the stories behind them or anecdotes about their creation.

In celebration of her 25th anniversary as an artist, she has delved into her rich musical treasure trove and let old songs shine anew in the concert concept 'Unni plays Unni Wilhelmsen.
